Selecting this option will enable the automatic management of web hooks for all items that use the GitLab Server endpoint, with the exception of those items that have explicitly opted out of hook management. When this option is not selected, individual items can still opt in to hook management provided the credentials those items have been configured with have permission to manage the required hooks.
